This is a really awesome story I just had to share! Once we found out we were pregnant the worries started. This particular day my biggest "worry" was where are we going to fit this baby? Our 3rd room was currently being used as our dining room housing all our antique dining room furniture given to us by Seth's parents for our wedding. Anyways, there are lots of big pieces and it takes up so much room. I was thinking about asking Seth's parents to store some of the furniture in their garage so we can make room for the new baby. I was talking to Seth about this and within 5 minutes of getting off the phone with him my Mom called and said, "guess what?" She told me that Todd and Michelle were talking to them and telling them that they were looking for a dining room set and were currently saving, but didn't know when they could get one. So my Mom called to ask if there would be any way we could "loan" our furniture to Todd and Michelle until we get a house with a formal dining room? I immediately made some phone calls and it turns out that it WILL WORK! Todd and Michelle are blessing us by taking all the dining room furniture and giving it a good home for a few years. I hope they are blessed with this furniture and will be able to entertain and have much fellowship using it. Problem solved, right? No, another worry came into mind. "Great...We don't have a table now! How are we going to eat - on the floor? What have I done, we don't have money to buy a table!" Seth came home and agreed to go "look" for a table. We went to American Signature and there wasn't anything. So we decided to just go home and trust God that he would provide. I asked Seth if he minded stopping by World Market (love the store!!) just to take a look. He said that it was way too expensive but we could go look. I found a table that was $500 marked 50% off. It seated 4 and had an extension to seat 6. It was perfect! Seth and I talked and thought we might be able to pull the money together with Christmas, birthday's and anniversary money. He asked me to go find someone to ask them where the extension was because it wasn't attached underneath. I found the Manager and he said that this was the last table and the extension was broken. He apologized and proceeded to walk away. I was SO BUMMED! Then he turned around and said, I'll give you the table for $50.00 if you want it!!!!! We were shocked! He walked away and we quickly started talking about the possibility of Seth building an extension. He thought he could do it and I would just have to put a table cloth over it when using it. Which is totally fine with me! So Seth went to find the Manager to say we wanted it. He told him we were going to take it and the Manager replied, "okay, I'll give it to you for $40.00"!!!!!! Seth was blown away and started telling him why we were looking for a table and they talked for a few minutes. The Manager walked over towards me and said, "God moves in mysteries ways, he (Seth) didn't even have to pull my leg, I'm giving it to you for $40.00". I about jumped out of my skin I was so excited!!!! So, that is my amazing story of God's faithfulness. Did he have to answer my prayers, no. But he DID and he did it so quickly and it was much more than I ever even dreamed of! One more cool thing. Seth told me later that he had $40.00 left in budget for my Christmas present. So we even stayed in budget! SO AWESOME!!! =) Now I just need chairs.....
