I don't know who reads this...

6:40 PM

But, I want to ask those of you who do read to pray for me.  Over the past couple of months my endometriosis has come back.  It hasn't been bad at all - nothing like what it was before my surgery.   Unfortunately, yesterday it started up again and tonight it is feeling much worse and much stronger.  Please just pray that God would heal me completely.  I know that HE is the only one who can heal me.  There is no "cure" for endometriosis and the only relief would be surgery again or another baby (which isn't happening).  I know prayer definitely works and I would greatly covet every single one!  He has healed me in the past from a horrible whiplash from my car accident.  I have FAITH that GOD CAN HEAL ME again.

5K Run

7:26 AM

Seth and I recently participated in the IOA corporate 5K run with Campus Crusade.  There were 10,600 people there!  It was huge.  I had such a good time being with my Husband and being able to run/walk with him.  He stuck with me almost the entire time, until the end when he wanted to sprint to the finish line.  I was doing my best to keep moving and not throw up!  =)  We went into it saying we were only going to walk - I was just getting over my sickness and Seth was starting to feel sick.  However, when the race began our competitiveness took over and we decided to run.  We did walk for about a mile but we didn't like all the people passing us so we ran the last mile.  =)  Seth finished the race in a little under 35 minutes I finished 30 seconds after him.  It was such a good feeling completing the race and doing it with Seth.  I am SO SO SO EXCITED about our cruise coming up, just the two of us.  I can't wait to have all that alone time with him.

I have some absolutely adorable pictures and a video to post soon from our trip to Sea World.  Keep watching...

She is taking steps!

6:15 PM

Well, Aunt Jessie just left yesterday and we miss her already!  We had so much fun, despite Norah crying most of the time.  You can finally see a tooth coming through on the top!  It should break tomorrow - I hope!  Norah is now up to taking 3 steps on her own!  She has trouble for some reason moving her right leg.  Once she gets that leg under control she will be walking.  I don't think I am ready for her to walk.  She is still so tiny.  Well, I am exhausted - my last week of work is next week!  Hopefully I'll get lots of rest over my summer break.  =)

Life is Spinning - literally

10:20 AM

Well, it turns out my allergies are not allergies.  I thought my stuffy nose this past week was just allergies from my dusty house.  =)  However, I woke up this morning very dizzy and nauseated (no I am not pregnant) so I decided to go see a Doctor.  I turns out I have an upper respiratory infection and vertigo.  I got the vertigo because I let me cold turn into an infection - whoops!  He put me on medication but he said I will be extremely tired when I take it so I will wait until Seth gets home.  Hopefully this will clear up soon because Seth's sister Jessica is coming on Saturday!

Norah is doing good.  She started getting a runny nose this morning.  I think it is her teeth - she is also drooling like crazy.  She woke up 3 times last night crying.  She kept sticking her hands in her mouth so that is why I think it is teeth.  She still only has the 2 bottom teeth.  You would never know by all the things this little girl can eat!

Her favorite toy lately has been Horton from Horton Hears A Who.  This blue elephant is almost as big as she is!  She takes him everywhere and is always giving him big kisses!  Thanks Nonna!!  I'll try to get a picture of the 2 of them and post soon.

Spoke to soon...

6:13 AM

Unfortunately, we have fleas again.  They are not that bad.  I have seen 6 from last night to this morning - mainly on Norah.  =(  I called Terminix at 7:15am this morning and told them to come out again.  So they are coming tomorrow morning and he is going to treat inside and out.  The last treatment they did we were flea free for nearly 2 weeks!  If we keep having to go in 2 week spurts I will take it!  The only bad thing about treating the house is the clean up involved afterwards.  Although, I am getting used to it by now.

Lytle Family Update

2:51 PM

I haven't posted in forever!  I am nearing the end of my school year teaching so I have lots of work to finish out the year.  It has been very busy around here.

Norah Doodle had her 9 month check up last week and she is doing amazing - very healthy.  She is still only 15.5 lbs - she falls in the 10th percentile for weight.  She is nearing 27" and that puts her in the 50th for height!

She is loving crawling and being able to in her own house!  The fleas are still gone on the inside - praise the Lord! They are pretty bad outside.  We hired terminix to come and help us out.  The man that came said we have one of the worst cases of fleas he has seen!  That creeped me out, but at the same time made me feel good that someone else agreed with me.  =)

Oh, the cutest thing she is doing at the moment is this fake laugh.  I don't know where she picked it up but she will sit in her car seat or around the house and I can hear her fake laughing.  I can't really explain it you just have to hear it.  I'll try to get a recording.  She is also standing up on her own in the middle of the floor.  She will dance and clap for a few seconds and then get down and crawl to a new spot and stand again.  I kind of hope she doesn't start walking yet.  She is too little!

I need to go get dinner out of the oven - baked ziti tonight!!  YUM-O  =)
