Wow. What a year.

8:33 AM

It has been just shy of 2 years since my last post.  It is safe to say that pretty much everything in my life has changed.  I wish I would have kept the blog up more, but I am not much of a writer, unlike my Mom.  However, this year the gift my Mom gave me for Christmas that has inspired me to write, even if it is just a few lines to capture what our family is doing, saying and where we are in life.  What was the gift? She gave me this blog put into a book!  It was so meaningful and special...I LOVED IT!

So here I go.  Re-cap the last 2 years.  Ha!  Are you ready?

Since my last post Bradley was a baby.  He is now a very active 2 1/2 year old.  He loves anything with wheels; super cars, monster trucks, motorcycles, etc.  He also loves music.  He has a drum set, keyboard and acoustic guitar.  Who knows if he will end up really playing on of the instruments, but for now he loves to make noise on them :)  His other favorite thing is fighting with Daddy, "OH YEAH?!" is his battle cry before he attacks.  He has brought so much joy and noise to this house.  It is hard to imagine life before this crazy little man.

Norah is now 4 1/2 and our little intellectual.  She is in pre-school 4 days a week and loves it!  She could do school all day long and still not have enough, reminds me of her Dad :)  She isn't much into playing with toys, which to me is very weird.  She would rather dress up and do art, read a book or do school work and occasionally I can get her excited about cleaning.  Norah LOVES to hike, Seth recently took her on a 2 hour hiking trip and of course had to stop every few minutes for a picture :) She still says things that makes you think "how old are you again!?"  She loves her role as the 'big sister' and takes care of her little brother so well.

Me, I am pregnant again.  Maybe another reason to why I feel I need to blog again :)  I seem to only write when pregnant.  I am 15 weeks now with our 3rd little Lytle.  I have been very sick this time around, much more than my first two pregnancies.  I think it has to do with no sleep, very active kids and a little boy who can create the worst smelling diapers :)  We have decided to not find out what we are having so the anticipation will build until the end of June when we meet our new baby.  It seems so far away, yet so close already.  Oh and I also make bagels for a local coffee shop.  A very small side job which has been lots of fun!

Seth, is still with CCC (or now CRU) and he works from home now...more on that in a bit.  He just celebrated his 5 year anniversary with them.  The longest he has stayed in one place!  He is also teaching himself Iphone development.  He recently finished an app for my parents blog The Romantic Vineyard and you can get it in the app store!  So proud of him!  He is one smart guy and I love his determination to learn new things and constantly challenger himself.

As I said before not much is the same.  We now live in Woodstock, Georgia.  It is still so weird to write, "I live in Georgia"...We have been here for 8 months now.  We are in the process of selling our first house in Sanford, Fl...a very long process.  We have buyers (I believe this is our 3rd) and we are waiting for the inspections and closing date.  It will be sad to say our final "goodbyes" to that house, but oh so exciting to not have to deal with all the issues that come with owning an old house.

So to re-cap the last 2 years in a few words:

2 toddlers, rats in the attic, leaving the church I went to for 25 years, our cat died, selling our first house, moving away from friends and family, living in a new state, new church, new friends, new issues with endometriosis, gluten problems, 3rd baby on the way, new side job for me, seth working from home, second job for seth, norah starting school for the first time, celebrating 6 years of marriage, trip to California, whew.

God has stayed the same, unchanging and faithful.  It brings such peace to know he never changes!  No matter how much my life and circumstances change I can rest assured that he has ordained every step we will take as a family and he has a plan, a perfect plan.

There, I did it, I blogged.  Now some pictures to enjoy.
